This particular finish for the 405 is dedicated to Gustav Stresemann, who was honoured with the Nobel Peace Prize in 1926 for his reconciliatory work after World War 1. Stresemann had a penchant for suits with thin stripes, a design which matches perfectly the striated finish seen on the Pelikan Souveran range.
The M405 features a differential piston filling system; hand-finished rhodium-plated 14ct/585 gold nib; brass components; diamond-ground barrel; and palladium-plated trim. A precision instrument of the highest quality.
