Kaweco Classic Sport White Mechanical Pencil 0.7mm

In 1911 something remarkable by the name of Kaweco Sport was created. A pocket fountain pen which could be carried everywhere. It only measured 10.5 cm when closed, but when the cap was mounted on top of the barrel, it grew to a standard-sized pen. Back at that time, the pen was advertised to the well-dressed society and especially sportsmen were targeted, hence the name Sport.

The series offers classic and historical colours with a gold-plated nib, golden logo cap and golden logo embossing. The colours include white, red, bordeaux, green, black and navy, as well as two other models with historical patterns chess and guilloche.

All nibs are made in Germany and you can choose your favorite nib size to make your pen more individual. Five nib sizes are available: EF, extra fine, for a very small and fine handwriting, F for fine, M as a medium standard width, B a slightly wider nib and BB often used for large, dramatic signatures. If you’re not sure what size you want or need, we recommend the nib size M. Additionally you can choose between the writing systems ballpoint pen, roller Ball pen, mechanical pencil and clutch pencil. The high-quality writing instruments of the Classic Sport series are produced and assembled in Germany.

Sepp Herberger was among the most famous users. The former coach of the national German soccer team wrote down his successful tactics with a Kaweco Sport, which led to the World Championship title in 1954.
